Camp Farthest Out (family camp)

CFO is a place for families, couples and singles to
join together to renew the mind, body and spirit - an opportunity for
fellowship, to discover one's true self through a centering in Jesus
Christ, and to learn to pray and discover the power of prayer. The CFO
experience helps us grow in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Come and find out what brings us together time and time again - year
after year.

We welcome people of all ages and have scheduled activities for children
and youth. We have been in existence for 75 years, and have called
Geneva Point Center our home since the 1940's.

Fiddleheads Acoustic Music Camp (all ages)

This is a weekend opportunity for musicians of all ages in a folk music setting.  A variety of workshops are offered from “bluegrass to swing”, back up styles, improvisation skills, theory, learning tunes by ear, vocals, and instruments such as violin, mandolin, guitar, viola, cello, piano, and hammered dulcimer.  The weekend specialty is the band performances, where participants join a band and practice and perform for each other.  Don’t think of this as a kids’ camp; on the contrary, every year brings ages 8-70, and all ages and musical abilities are welcome.  Fiddleheads Camp is run by fiddlers Kathy Sommer (Zimpfer) and Ellen Carlson, and is in its 9th season this year.

For more information, contact fiddleheads_nh@yahoo.com or visit the website for an application at www.fiddleheadscamp.com, or call (603) 528-1705.
