Be A Part of the Camp Experience!
2008 Camps * A note from the camp director, Abbie Parker
2008 Registration Forms
Fiddleheads Acoustic Music Camp
(By fiddlers Kathy Sommer and Ellen Carlson) This is
a weekend opportunity for musicians of all ages in a folk music setting.
A variety of workshops are offered from “bluegrass to swing”, back up
styles, improvisation skills, theory, learning tunes by ear, vocals, and
instruments such as violin, mandolin, guitar, viola, cello, piano, and
hammered dulcimer. The weekend specialty is the band performances, where
participants join a band and practice and perform for each other. Don’t
think of this as a kids’ camp; on the contrary, every year brings ages
8-70, and all ages and musical abilities are welcome. *Outdoor Camps* Sleep under the stars, join an adventure team, create unity, and be a
leader. This overnight camp will be an adventure unlike any other. Winnipesaukee Adventure: Entering grades 7th-11th Winnipesaukee Jr. Adventure: Entering grades 4th-6th Dates to be announced!
