Winter on the Trails

Walk, Snowshoe, Cross Country Ski

November-April Dawn to Dusk

We welcome our friends and neighbors to enjoy the GPC trails this winter. From November through April, the Yellow Trail (perimeter trail) will be open, for active recreation, from dawn to dusk, unless otherwise posted at the gates or trail access point. Please stick to the Yellow Trail and avoid the interior areas of our campus. Parking is available in front of the GPC Office. Please do not park or drive anywhere else on campus without checking in at our office in advance. Remember, during the winter months, all our buildings are closed down and locked and there are no restrooms available. Winter office hours vary. However you can contact the on call manager at (603) 253-4366 ext. 203 between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Please be a GPC Supporter

We are glad for our neighbors and friends to enjoy Geneva Point's trails. If you do, please also consider being an annual or monthly supporter. You will be helping to keep the tails in good condition as well as our overall mission of conservation, preservation and service.

Things to Know for GPC Trail Walkers

  • There is a portable toilet located along the Yellow Trail between first and second beach during the summer months only.

  • Dogs are welcome but must be on leash around other dogs or people.

  • Never leave your dog’s business behind on roads, trails, grassy areas or anywhere else people typically walk and/or step in it. (Don’t be that dog owner).

  • The beaches are not open for swimming.

  • Park only in the parking area in front of the Office (green roofed building inside the first gate).

  • If you see downed trees, obstructing trails, on power lines or buildings, other hazardous concerns, or find vandalism or observe individuals engaged in inappropriate or unsafe conduct, please let us know at the office or call 603-253-4366.

  • Use of the GPC trails is at your own risk. Use caution at all times.
